Who is « normal »? Are you? is an ongoing serie since 2018. Vera has been photographing her brother Leonard for the last 8 years in his everyday life. Leonard is 21 years old today and living with Down Syndrome. The project aims to show the evolution of Leonard and his universes through time. Taking these pictures has become a playful game between Vera and Leonard, as he enjoys being photographed.
In response to his difficulties to communicate with the others, Leonard developed a really strong way of expressing himself trough the dance and internal universes. The serie captures his sensibility through the relationship the subject has with his sister.
